Birth of New Earth

In moments of intensity

watch the lava pour into the splashing sea

emotional waters & transformational fires

alchemize inside of me

rebirthing the collective of humanity

as the two reverent Sisters of Hawai’i,

Tutu Pele and Namakaokaha‘i

The Goddess of Fire & Lava and The Goddess of the Sea

I experience these divine elements within me,

sometimes at odds, yes, though wisdom chooses to see

they’re ultimately unified in creational harmony,

the way to birth literal earth through this elemental polarity

both physically & emotionally, mentally & spiritually

a calm innerstanding sees, these powerful sisters are complimentary

from a gratuitous light, together they grow new life,

to boundaries, to preferences & the deeper truth inside

to stand firm & speak aloud is what we must revive.
